We are recruiting 8 Venue Transport Coordinators to support the Venue Transport Managers based at London Heathrow Airport this summer. Heathrow Airport will see thousands of arrivals and departures for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, meaning we are building a workforce of enthusiastic and driven individuals to form an integral part of our operational delivery teams in London.
The Venue Transport Coordinator will work closely with stakeholders and other Functional Areas to ensure Games-wide policies and procedures are implemented, and a consistent level of service is given to all clients. The role will assist in managing a dynamic team of Volunteers and Contractors, supporting the safe and effective delivery of the transport plan.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of the Venue Transport Operations Plan supporting the Venue Transport Manager.
- Provide support for multiple competition or non-competition venues, as required in the lead up to Games Time.
- Work closely with transport delivery partners and transport stakeholders to ensure an integrated and holistic approach is planned for Games Family, Spectators & Workforce, residents and businesses.
- Attend Venue Transport Working Groups and manage actions for a specific venue, supporting the Venue Transport Manager.
- Capture, resolve and escalate Venue Transport specific risks as required.
- Assist with the development and delivery of Venue Transport training program for Contractors and Volunteers.
- Effectively contribute to the collation and documentation of specific Venue Transport information for the Transfer of Games Knowledge required by the Commonwealth Games Federation and as defined in Games Manuals.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Detail focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to represent the team effectively in a client facing environment.
- Ability to interpret a range of information or tasks, making decisions that have an impact on the wider project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Contract: Temporary Contract until August 2022
Location: London Heathrow Airport (Please note, some travel up to the Birmingham Head Office may be required).
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Please note, due to the nature of this huge event, shift work including weekend working will be required at Games time. Furthermore, there will be limitations on taking annual leave during the Games operational period in July and August. More specific details can be discussed at interview.
