Port Operative

Location: Immingham

Salary: £12.21 - £25.00 per hour (Productivity-linked pay: the more you bag, the higher your earnings)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit Port Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced port environment, supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating port equipment (training provided where required)
• Operating bagging plant machinery
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and in line with operational guidelines
• Working as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and maintain workflow
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

What We’re Looking For

• Port Plant driving operatives, forkift B1, B2, Loading shovel - using blade and spike.
• Reliability – consistent attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
• Hardworking attitude – willing to get stuck in and support the wider team
• Excellent physical fitness – able to lift, carry and move heavy items safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Flexibility to work different shift patterns, including days, nights and weekends
• Port plant drivers and general operatives required.
• Must have a full UK Driving licence.
