Stafforce Managed Services are delighted to be working with The Port of Immingham. As the Port continues their expansion plans they need to expand their current flexible workforce and we are looking to recruit loading shovel operatives on a flexible basis.

Job Summary

Exciting opportunities to include Front End Loading Shovel drivers to work within the Port’s busy terminals. We have immediate opportunities to ensure customer excellence is delivered within a safe and productive environment.

Duties will include:

• Safe movement product within stores and bagging operations
• Loading of product into the hopper for bulk bagging operations
• Pushing up of product for effective and maximum storage
• None driving duties to include assisting with the bagging operation
• Assisting with handling, charging and discharging of cargo
• Live and breathe a safety first culture with the confidence to identify and report potential risks
• Willingness to contribute to other duties within the terminal

These opportunities provide the foundation to offer further training and work in other Terminals and service areas.

Skills and Qualifications

• Front End Loading Shovel / Payloader / Shovel Certification current or expired
• You will need to enjoy being part of a busy Customer focused team.
• Be able to work shifts including weekends – Flexibility is key.
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Sound communication skills

Hours of Work

• 12-hour shifts with 0600 – 1800 and 1800 – 0600 being core shifts. Start times can vary depending the needs of the business.
• The Port is a 24/7 operation and therefore flexibility to the needs of the operation and vessel traffic is critical. We are seeking committed, flexible and driven candidates who will demonstrate the core values of the port.
• Consideration should be given of your ability to arrive onsite for these start times using local or personal transport.
