What is the job role of a Port Operative?

Stafforce port operatives support the UK's supply chain from discharge to distribution.

No two days are the same in shipping and a port operative may cover many different roles which include:

• Stevedore / Quayside duties
• Plant driving including Tugs
• Traffic Marshall and Vehicle banksman
• General Operative duties

Desirable:

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, plant driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman.
