Port Industrial Cleaner / Industrial Cleaning Operative

Salary: £12.21 - £15.07 per hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Port Industrial Cleaner to join our operations team at a busy commercial port. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial cleaning, port operations, or heavy-duty cleaning environments.

As a Port Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards across port facilities, machinery, and industrial areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning duties across port and terminal facilities

• Clean warehouses, wharves, loading docks, and operational areas

• Use high-pressure cleaning equipment, industrial vacuums, and chemicals safely

• Remove waste, debris, oil, and residue from industrial surfaces

• Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) and port security procedures

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Assist with spill response and deep cleaning tasks as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, port cleaning, or heavy industry cleaning (preferred)

• Ability to perform manual labour and physically demanding tasks

• Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial environments

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
