Tugmaster Driver – Port Operations

Location: Immingham
Salary: £28000 - £34500 per annum + overtime + benefits
Contract: Temp-to-Perm


Join Our Growing Port Logistics Team!

We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Tugmaster Drivers to join our operations team.This is an exciting opportunity for experienced or willing-to-train drivers to support the efficient movement of trailers and containers within a busy port environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Tugmaster / Terminal Tractors to move trailers and RoRo units on and off vessels.

  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.

  • Coordinate with ramp teams, traffic marshals, and port supervisors for efficient load flow.

  • Follow all site Health & Safety protocols and traffic regulations.

  • Support vessel loading/discharging operations, including trailer placement and retrieval.

  • Assist in yard movements and trailer positioning as required.


Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence (HGV/LGV desirable).

  • Tugmaster driving experience preferred (RoRo, HGV, plant, or similar backgrounds welcome).

  • Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail.


Desirable (but not essential):

  • Port experience (RoRo or container terminals).

  • Forklift / plant / yard shunter certification.

  • Experience with trailer loading/unloading procedures.
