Port Plant Driver – Immediate Start Available

About the Role

We’re looking for reliable, safety‑focused Port Plant Drivers to join our team at a busy port operation in Immingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating heavy plant machinery in an industrial, logistics, or port environment.

You’ll be responsible for the safe movement of cargo, bulk materials, and equipment across the site while maintaining high operational standards and following all safety procedures.

Due to Port requirements we can only utilise Plant operators with a full UK Driving licence, we are able to assist with expired/ in house licences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate port plant machinery such as loading shovels, forklifts, tugs, reachstackers, or similar equipment
• Load, unload, and move cargo safely and efficiently
• Follow all port safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard‑free working area
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and timely operations
• Support additional warehouse or yard tasks where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating plant machinery (port experience desirable but not essential)
• Valid licences/tickets such as:
  • FLT
  • Loading Shovel
  • Tug / Terminal Tractor
  • Reachstacker (if applicable)
• Strong attention to safety
• Ability to work shifts (days/nights/weekends depending on rota)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
