Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced port environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop?

We’re currently recruiting Port Operatives to join our team in Hull, supporting day-to-day operations across the port.

About the Role

As a Port Operative, you’ll be involved in a variety of operational tasks to ensure the smooth and safe movement of cargo and equipment. Your duties may include:

• Assisting with loading and unloading of vessels
• Mooring and lashing (training provided)
• Upskilling to Tug driving
• Supporting cargo handling and storage operations
• Working with port machinery and equipment (training provided)
• Securing loads and preparing cargo for movement
• General labouring and housekeeping duties across the port
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a port, warehouse, or industrial environment is beneficial but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
• Must have full UK Driving licence due to location and the requirements of the role
• A strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Flexibility to work across various shifts (days, nights, and weekends as required)
• Willingness to complete training and develop new skills

Training & Development

Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, full training is available.
