Forklift Operator

Location: Immingham
Job Type: 12 hour shifts
Salary: £12.21- £15.07 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse/port/logistics team. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and load goods efficiently while ensuring safety and accuracy in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods and materials.

• Transport pallets and cargo safely within the warehouse, yard, or port.

• Check loads are secure and properly stacked.

• Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, picking, and organising stock.

• Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults.

• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence/certification (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).

• Previous experience as a forklift operator is desirable.

• Good awareness of health and safety in a warehouse/port environment.

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks when required.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime.
