Forklift Driver – Andover

Salary: £29,500 per annum + bonus opportunity (after successful probation)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–20:00

Location: Andover, Hampshire

Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Role

We’re recruiting a forklift driver to join a busy and supportive operation in Andover. This is a hands-on, physically active role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring orders are picked, checked and loaded accurately for next-day deliveries. You must have either a counterbalance forklift licence or aisle master forklift certificate.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing stock counts and supporting general stock control
• Picking and preparing orders for next-day delivery
• Loading vans/lorries safely and efficiently, following weight distribution guidelines
• Operating an FLT (Counterbalance and/or Aisle Master) in line with site safety procedures
• Using an electronic ERP system to process stock and orders
• Supporting the Warehouse Team Leader and working closely within a small team

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or Aisle Master)
• Proven experience with van/lorry loading and understanding weight distribution
• Strong awareness of safe handling and warehouse health & safety
• Comfortable using ERP / warehouse systems
• Able to work well as part of a small team
