CNC Turner (Temp to Perm) – Andover – £14.00 to £22.00 per hour

We’re recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a busy engineering/manufacturing site in Andover on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role, with two shift patterns available (days or nights).

Pay:

• £14.00 to £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience and shift)

Shift Options (choose one)

Days

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 14:30

Nights

• Monday to Wednesday: 16:30 – 04:45
• Thursday: 16:30 – 21:15

The Role:

As a CNC Turner, you’ll be responsible for producing precision components to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines (including offsets/tool changes as required)
• Producing components to tight tolerances and required finish standards
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment (e.g., verniers, micrometers, gauges)
• Maintaining production/quality records and following H&S procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner (set & operate essential)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work accurately
• Good inspection/measuring skills and a quality-focused approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
