Discharge & Ferrying Driver (Vehicle Movement) – Grimsby

GI Group Grimsby are recruiting Discharge & Ferrying Drivers to support vehicle movements from vessels to an on-site compound in Grimsby. You’ll be working with manual, automatic and electric vehicles, with 2 paid trainee shifts provided to learn the role and build confidence before you get fully started.

The Role

As a Driver on site, you will:

• Drive new vehicles from vessels to the on-site compound
• Drive new vehicles between compounds for ferrying
• Move vehicles safely within the compound as required
• Maintain high standards of care and report any damage/issues immediately

Shifts & Pay

• Varied hours across days, nights and weekends (shift dependent)
• Pay rates: £12.71 – £14.97 per hour (depending on shift)
• Overtime opportunities available

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Full Manual UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years)
• Be aged 22+ (insurance purposes)
• Driving licence address must match your current home address
• 3–6 points may be accepted subject to endorsement code
• Be reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Availability for days and/or night shifts (including weekends)
