Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Driver

Location: Northampton

Department: Warehouse / Distribution

Hours/Shifts: Monday – Friday 0700 - 1530

Pay Rate: £14.40 per hour

Role Purpose

To operate a Bendi (Flexi) forklift truck safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store goods within the warehouse, ensuring stock is handled accurately and in line with site health & safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Operate a Bendi/Flexi truck to move stock safely within the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas.

·       Load and unload deliveries/collections as required, ensuring loads are stable and transported securely.

·       Put away stock into racking locations and complete replenishment tasks to support picking operations.

·       Support Goods In/Goods Out activities: checking quantities, reporting discrepancies/damages, and following site processes.

·       Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE, speed limits, pedestrian segregation, and safe stacking guidelines.

·       Work collaboratively with warehouse operatives, team leaders, and transport teams to meet KPI and dispatch targets.

Skills & Experience Required

·       Valid Bendi/Flexi forklift national licence

·       Confident working at height and in narrow aisles/racking.

·       Strong attention to detail with accurate stock handling.

·       Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

·       Physically able to complete manual handling tasks when required.
