Manufacturing Operative

We’re recruiting Manufacturing Operatives for a globally recognised, market-leading can manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established site with consistent hours and development potential in a fast-paced production environment.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Operative, you’ll be working on a busy production line, supporting the manufacture of high-quality cans to meet daily targets and quality standards.

Salary: £15 per hour

Location: Milton Keynes

Shifts:12 Hour Shifts / days and nights

Key responsibilities:

·       Operating and monitoring production machinery (full training provided where required)

·       Feeding materials, packing finished product and completing basic line checks

·       Carrying out visual quality inspections and recording results

·       Following Health & Safety procedures

·       Keeping your work area clean, organised and running efficiently

·       Escalating faults, defects or safety concerns to the Team Leader promptly

·       Sorting, Bailing, Scrapping, Cleaning

What We’re Looking For:

·       Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment is desirable

·       Good attention to detail and a reliable, can-do attitude

·       Able to work at pace and follow processes accurately

·       Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods

·       Happy to work alternative weekends
