Details of a Production Operative

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Location: Northampton

Duration: Temp on going

Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday

Hours: 07:00 – 17:15

Role of a Production Operative

·       Building products on the assembly line

·       Operate robotic machinery and automated production equipment safely and efficiently.

·       Load raw materials and remove finished products from robotic workstations.

·       Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure quality standards are achieved.

·       Following safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

·       Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.

·       Reporting incidents, product imperfections on the assembly line

·       Working with various hand tools

·       Can involve heavy lifting

Requirements for a Production Operative

·       Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

·       Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·       Good physical stamina as well as stand for hours at a time.

·       Be able to work in different departments depending on the requirements
