Children’s Registered Manager  (LD) -  Bexley – Up to £40K

Here at Hampton’s we are working in close partnership with a brand new children’s residential care service who are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record with Ofsted to open their brand new 3 bed home for young people with learning disabilities, Autism and complex needs in Bexley. Could this be the perfect role for you?

Our client is looking for a professional to drive their services forward to achieve excellent efficiency and effectiveness of the running of the home partnered with expertise of children’s residential regulations and has proven successes of at least a ‘Good’ rating with Ofsted! This gives the perfect opportunity for a manager to put their own stamp on the home and chances for progression by assisting in developing the service!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To maintain care standards and registration of the home by providing operational management and supervision of first-line managers
• Contributing to the planning and evaluation of the home by controlling budgets and developing staff.
• Mentor and support the leadership team in your setting and Residential support staff in provision of best possible childcare practices
• Ensure the day-to-day management, monitoring and supervision of staff is facilitated in a professional and competent manner

Skills and Experiences:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
• Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (as well as the Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent)
• Proven track record with Ofsted of either a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ rating
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding regulations and Children’s Residential care policies and procedures

Salary: Up to £40K
