Salary: GBP0 - GBP33000 per annum + 28 days annual leave

Children’s Deputy Manager (Newham) – Mother and Baby Unit – £33K

Hampton’s are working in exclusive partnership with a Residential Family Centre for the recruitment of an experienced Deputy Manager to join their senior team for their unit based in Newham!

Our client has a proven track record of providing robust, fair and evidence-based assessments of parenting skills through the use of holistic therapeutic services to parents with learning disabilities, substance misuse and domestic abuse. The offering of in-house therapy supports programs for the management and preparation of independent living.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for some staff supervision and appraisals as well as ensuring that training record are up to date
  • You will deputise to the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the centre and ensure all policies and procedures are in line with the Children’s Regulations Act 2015
  • Promote and actively encourage the deliver of a safe, structured and nurturing environment
  • Maintaining and updating rotas, records and other administration duties

Skills and Experiences:

  • Degree/Diploma in Social Work
  • 5 years of post-qualification experience, with 2 years in a managerial role supervising and managing staff within a residential setting (residential family centre preferbable)
  • Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and frameworks
  • Court assessments experience is also preferred
