Children’s Registered Manager – Northampton – Up to £45K
Hamptons are proud to be working exclusively with one of the country’s top Children’s Residential care providers on their hunt for an experienced Registered Manager for a BRAND NEW HOME in Northampton. This is the ideal role for a Registered Manager looking for a new challenge of setting up a new facility alongside the Operations Manager!
Our client is currently housing over 100 children in our 30 homes across the country, where their team of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers and Managers provide first-rate and meaningful care to each child giving them the support and guidance they deserve. The successful applicant will support and manage a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, while acting as a corporate parent to the children they care for, helping them thrive in their day to day lives

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the residential homes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and educational needs of young people
- Coaching, supporting and developing staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality and diversity, policies and procedures, legislation and contractual and inspection framework requirements are met
- Identifying resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff to ensure service delivery is optimised and relevant standards are met
- Liaising with other departments and specialist external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support in the home to aid their rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements
Skills and Experiences:
- Have previous management experience in a childcare residential setting
- Being resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times and represents being a great role model
- Are resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times
- Have the passion and drive to improve the lives of children as well as having the desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills
Salary: Up to £45K
