PDI Engineer in the heavy plant sector

Up to £15.50 p/h DOE
40-hour week, plenty of OT opportunities at 1.5x
My client is an ever-expanding, leading dealer in heavy plant machinery. They are looking for PDI technicians to join their team in their new, state of thar art PDI centre. The ideal candidate would be a confident, flexible, hardworking engineer with a can-do attitude and willingness to work hard and make the most of the progression opportunities on offer.
Role & Responsibilities:
➢ To carry out pre delivery inspections both electrical and hydraulic on new construction / recycling equipment.
➢ Fault finding / looking for warranty issues.
➢ Demonstrate various fitments that need to be fitted at PDI stage. Hydraulic hitches + attachments, minor electrics; alarms, beacons, lights.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Construction plant experience/knowledge
- Some mechanical fitting skills.
- High attention to detail and care in your work.
