Business Development Manager (FMCG and CPG)

Location:  Ealing, England
Salary:  GBP30000 - GBP45000 per annum + Commission


Join a fast growth, disruptive SaaS business in a Hunter / Gatherer role to acquire and develop new logo’s in FMCG and CPG for this global, on-demand digital consumer insights provider. Experience of these sectors (FMCG and CPG) is essential. 

The client enables brands and agencies to digitally integrate consumer research and insight services to enable faster more accurate Marketing decision making. Due to continued year on year growth they are now looking to hire a BDM to drive new logo development, developing up sell and cross sell opportunities with new customers acquired. 

This is a senior level sales role and will require someone capable of engaging, presenting and negotiating with C level strategic contacts offering a benefit driven solution that is aligned to the clients strategic objectives. Building excellent relationships whilst prospecting for new business, the role will be focused on offering value-added, insightful and strategic input into the clients business. You will be working closely with colleagues and your line manager to ensure large or complex “six figure” opportunities are identified and won. 

You already have between 3 and 5 years’ experience in B2B Solutions and are currently looking at a career move that would give you more responsibility and to own your own particular vertical. You are experienced in prospecting and using structured Target Account Selling processes to achieve your targets.

The role requires an intelligent, thoughtful and driven sales person capable of thinking big and being bold, not being afraid to do things differently and if required challenging the status quo. Any experience in the consumer or business intelligence sectors, Insight, Data or marketing SaaS sectors is preferable.
