Join Us as a Locum Registered Nurse – Renal (Dialysis)

Take on a vital role as a Locum Renal Registered Nurse and make a difference in communities across Australia. We're seeking experienced dialysis nurses for 4–12 week contracts in regional, coastal, and remote locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality dialysis care across hospital and community-based renal units

• Set up, monitor, and manage dialysis machines, assessing and responding to patient needs throughout treatment

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Accurately document patient progress and adhere to strict infection control and clinical protocols

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)

• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience in renal/dialysis settings within Australia or New Zealand

• Previous experience with Fresenius, Gambro, or Baxter dialysis machines is highly desirable

• Sunrise EMR training preferred for placements in SA – can be arranged prior to placement

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Valid driver’s license preferred for regional/remote roles

• Willingness to travel for 4–12 week contracts in regional/remote Australia
