About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant - Treasury & Tax role sits within the Group Finance function and will manage key operational areas including treasury, tax compliance, SLAs, and financial controls. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, with scope to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall treasury function of the organisation and other Associated entities managed via a Service Level Agreement (SLA) in line with applicable finance and investment policies
- Manage cash flow forecasting, reporting, and investment planning

Administer corporate bank accounts, credit card facilities, and loan arrangements

Oversee GST and FBT compliance, including lodgements and reconciliations

Facilitate funding distribution and provide accounting support to associated entities

Support internal controls and drive process improvement in treasury and tax functions

Liaise with banks and financial partners on account and loan matters

Perform ad hoc duties to support broader finance initiatives
Skills and Experience
-
Demonstrated experience in treasury and tax functions within medium to large organisations

Strong working knowledge of GST, FBT, and relevant accounting standards

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Experience working with high volumes of financial data accurately and efficiently

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Knowledge of enterprise financial systems and advanced Excel skills
Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (preferred)

CA/CPA qualified or working toward full membership
