Salary: GBP43500 - GBP55000 per annum

Hampton’s are working closely with a well-established children’s residential services provider who have had an exciting vacancy arise for a Registered Manager to oversee their children’s service in Sheffield.

The service cares for up to 4 young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

The service has recently had an Ofsted inspection, where it achieved “good” in all areas.

Salary: up to £43,500 - £55,000 (dependant on experience and qualifications)

Location: Sheffield

Experienced Deputy Managers looking to step-up will be considered

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the overall running and management of the unit, including the staff, the budgets, the resources and fabric of the unit and the welfare of service users.
  • To provide support to children and young people in accordance with the placement plans, risk assessments and reports
  • To be part of the management structure and support in ensuring the smooth running of the service
  • To ensure children and young people’s needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards it
  • At least 2 years’ experience at managerial level within residential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest regulations
  • Willingness to be flexible
