Hampton’s are working in partnership with a large children’s residential services provider who are seeking a Registered Manager for their “outstanding” children’s home in Northampton.
The home cares for up to 5 young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager who is looking for a new challenge and shares their passion about forever bettering the lives of the vulnerable young people in their care.
Salary: £43,000 , rising to £47,000 after successful probation + up to £10,000 in bonuses.
Location: Northampton
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and coaching within the home to ensure best outcomes for the young person
- Support the Assistant Manager and/or Senior Residential Childcare Workers in provision of best possible childcare practices
- Maintain the highest possible standards of childcare and ensure that the young person’s agreed placement plan is fully implemented
- Expected to arrange your own rota and responsible for ensuring an appropriate staff presence to meet the needs of the young person in the home
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards it
- Experience at managerial level within residential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Up to date knowledge of the latest regulations
- Willingness to be flexible
