Blackfield Associates are currently supporting the search for a Head of Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MSAT/MS&T) to join a Gene Therapy organisation based in Oxfordshire.
You will be responsible for determining the MS&T strategy and leading the manufacturing and technology activities within the department working towards the commercialisation of products. You will be POC and key interface with Contract Manufacturing Organisations and other suppliers, ensuring the manufacturing process, technology transfer and troubleshooting of any processing issues. You will also be accountable for authoring and reviewing Manufacturing & Process Development sections of regulatory submissions.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience in MS&T, Technical Transfer and Bio-Processing (USP/DSP) within a complex manufacturing Biotechnology/Biological/Gene Therapy field (Viral vector, Lenti vector, T Cell, etc..). Experience of product life-cycle phases I to III or commercialisation. A thorough understanding of Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) will be advantageous.
