You could be working for a very well-established Telecoms and Engineering company working at various site throughout the UK. Back ground working for Telecommunications (Ideally mobile Telecommunications) companies is essential so if you have worked for companies such as Vodafone, O2, EE, Orange, Huawei, Alcatel Lucent or Arqiva then I want to hear from you.
The role:
As an experienced Telecoms Field Engineer/Installer you will be using your technical knowledge and working to install Huawei 3900 units on site throughout the UK.
Your Installation and Commissioning skills will be utilised regularly and SC clearance would be a bonus.
The position is for a 6 months contract and you will have a valid UK driving license and own transportation.
Skills/Requirements:
Being a Telecoms Field Engineer/Installer, you will:
- Be familiar with Huawei 3900 2G/4G BTS
- Be PC competent for uploading/downloading software and scripts and completing HOP’s (Data capture, screen shots, photos etc)
- Be Using Android Test Phones with GNet software [PH]
- Be familiar with Call Testing
- Be doing Installation/swap of UMPTe cards and SFP’s along with associated Fibre cables (This can be achieved with on-site training as we do now)
- Be Arqiva approved
Day rate/hourly rate will be dependent on experience , up to £230 per day!
