Regional Finance Director (New role) (CTFD26062024) Singapore
- Adecco is partnering with a Renowned F&B Co. (with an extensive expansion plan). We are looking for a finance professional with strong business acumen, financial, and compliance background to join the senior leadership team.
- As a right-hand person to the Managing Director, you will lead the Southeast Asia finance, oversee end-to-end financial matters, and drive business strategy for the business entity.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans across Southeast Asia
- Set up the finance operations and structure across Southeast Asia.
- Key business partner to the Managing Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management. Monitor cash flow and working capital to support operations and strategic investments.
- Stakeholder Management. Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, investors, and local regulatory authorities.
- Investor Relations and Funding: Maintain relationships with investors and financial institutions including managing funding processes, debt and equity financing.
- Oversee the company's investment portfolio: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g. IFRS/SFRS).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets and optimize performance.
The Talent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Candidate with MBA or CPA/CA is preferred
- Proven track record as a finance leader for over 8 years, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry, and well versed in financial regulations across Southeast Asia.
- Experience in managing investor relations, funding, and investment activities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
- Strong sense of business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills to partner with business stakeholders.
- Able to communicate in Chinese to work with counterparts in China.
