Regional Finance Director (New role)

  • Adecco is partnering with a Renowned F&B Co. (with an extensive expansion plan). We are looking for a finance professional with strong business acumen, financial, and compliance background to join the senior leadership team.
  • As a right-hand person to the Managing Director, you will lead the Southeast Asia finance, oversee end-to-end financial matters, and drive business strategy for the business entity.


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans across Southeast Asia
  • Set up the finance operations and structure across Southeast Asia.
  • Key business partner to the Managing Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support decision-making.
  • Cash Flow Management. Monitor cash flow and working capital to support operations and strategic investments.
  • Stakeholder Management. Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, investors, and local regulatory authorities.
  • Investor Relations and Funding: Maintain relationships with investors and financial institutions including managing funding processes, debt and equity financing.
  • Oversee the company's investment portfolio: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g. IFRS/SFRS).
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets and optimize performance.

 

The Talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Candidate with MBA or CPA/CA is preferred
  • Proven track record as a finance leader for over 8 years, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry, and well versed in financial regulations across Southeast Asia.
  • Experience in managing investor relations, funding, and investment activities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills to partner with business stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate in Chinese to work with counterparts in China.
