• Adecco is partnering with a Renowned established Multinational Co (Manufacturing Industry). We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional to lead the regional team in Singapore!
• As a right-hand person to the CFO, you will lead the APAC (8 Countries) finance team, oversee end-to-end financial matters, and drive business strategy for the business entity.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including approvals of transactions, invoices, payments, and other financial processes.
• Lead monthly and annual closing processes in collaboration with regional finance teams.
• Review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance.
• Analyze and review key financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax.
• Coordinate with external advisors and government agencies to ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.
• Support audits and assist in the preparation of tax filings and other required submissions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances, offering recommendations for improvements or adjustments
• Liaise with internal teams, including accounting, treasury, audit, and tax departments.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
• Provide support for financial operations, policy implementation, and process improvements.

The Talent

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, candidates with CPA / CA is an advantage
• More than 10-15 years of relevant experience in the multinational company’s environment; candidates from manufacturing industry is a plus
• Exposure in using SAP system and proficient in MS Excel
• Dedicated individual with good interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Talent with an immediate or short-notice period would be a plus.
