Mane Contract Services are currently looking for 66kv (NKT) Cable Jointers for a long term project beginning in September.
CANDIDATE MUST BE 66KV NKT CERTIFIED TO QUALIFY FOR AN APPLICATION
Start Date - September
Duration - 3/4 months
Number of Rotations - 3/4
Rotation - 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
HV Cable Jointer
The HV Cable Jointer will be solely responsible for the HV termination, however, will take part other tasks in the scope of work as required.
- Certificate from NKT for 66kv
Role Description
- Ability to motivate a team to achieve milestones
- Ability to delicate task to ensure works continues, concurrently during HV termination works
- Understand the importance of critical project paperwork and required images that will be captured during stages of the installation
- Able to complete tower notes during the working day on the company's tablet
- Ensures that the team and equipment is prepared and organised for the next working shift/day with other team members and the storeman.
- Able to identify potential H&S risks on the work location and dynamically throughout the working day
- Perform HV terminations
- Perform all foreseen procedural scope including but not limited to, cable stripping, hang off the installation, cable routing, cleating and HV terminations
- Report incidents and accidents to QHSE and or DOIM.
