Our client based in Netherfield are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their family run and well-established team. Our client specialises in the structural industry including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, and Balconies

MIG Welder Job Description:
Working within the heavy steel industry
Welding using drawings
Working out angles and measurements
MIG Welding                                                                                

 Fabricating from scratch

Confident taking the job from start to finish                                        

Working with Mild Steel and some stainless

Working with gauges up to 120mm
Use of machinery including grinders, press, guillotine

Confident checking own work

Essential Skills –

Time served Welder or Fabricator

Able to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges

Desirable Skill –

Overhead crane license

Apprentice trained

TIG welding is advantageous but not essential as mostly MIG

Package:                                                                                                                                       

 £15 per hour                                                                                                                  

Overtime paid at a premium
Permanent role
Day shifts – Monday to Thursday 0730 – 1630 Friday 0730 – 1300
