The Opportunity:
Our client is a Tier 1 business. The company specializes in the delivery of civil infrastructure, main roads including earthworks and underground services. Having established a reputation for quality and reliability through successful project delivery, the company has enjoyed a period of sustained growth, recently securing several significant main roads projects as part of a successful and ongoing growth strategy.
We are currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. You will be working on a large-scale $30million-dollar main road project and manage a team of 25+. This is a family friendly METRO POSITION with adhoc site visits. As an experienced Project Manager you will report directly to the Construction Manager, you will demonstrate proven civil experience across a range of projects including earthworks, roadworks, drainage and general civils. MAIN ROADS EXPEREINCE IS ESSENTIAL.
This position will see you working within the existing team and assist in all project engineering duties including writing TQ’s, QA, creating punch lists, dealing with the client and working closely with the Project Manager.
This is an opportunity to build upon your existing project experience while working with a respected civil contractor.
The Requirements:
- Tertiary Civil or Structural Engineering qualifications
- 8+years’ exposure to civil construction OR infrastructure projects in Australia
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running
- Positive references from previous employers, demonstrating a stable employment history
- Main road project experience essential
