Your Responsibilities – Senior Accountant
As a member of the accounting department, you will oversee daily financial operations and contribute to the accuracy and reliability of accounting processes. Your key responsibilities include:
- Maintain general ledger accounting (journals, reconciliations, account monitoring).
- Participate in monthly and annual closings, ensuring data accuracy.
- Review and post supplier and customer invoices in SAP/S4.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing payments and manage bank reconciliations.
- Identify and correct discrepancies or posting errors.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to optimize processes and share best practices.
- Prepare financial reports and analyses for management.
This role offers autonomy while remaining fully integrated within a collaborative and supportive team.
Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role. Experience with SAP S4Hana is a plus.
Languages: Excellent command of English, and proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
