Senior Accountant: Right Hand to Management (SB654) Beersel, Belgium

Our client is a well-established service company located on the outskirts of Brussels. With around fifty employees, the company is currently experiencing strong growth, leading management to strengthen the finance department. The existing team handles day-to-day operations efficiently, but they are looking for a senior profile capable of taking a step back, bringing structure, and becoming a true right hand to management.

What you will do

You will take ownership of the finance function as a whole, working directly with management and supporting the current accountant.

  • Full general accounting management: monthly and annual closings, balance sheet, annual accounts.
  • VAT returns, tax obligations, and monitoring of regulatory deadlines.
  • Regular financial reporting for management.
  • Implementation and documentation of internal financial processes.
  • Cash flow analysis, monitoring of financial flows, and anticipation of future needs.
  • Coordination with external stakeholders: auditors, tax authorities, and banks.


What you bring

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, with full mastery of the accounting cycle from A to Z. Previous experience in an autonomous environment is essential.

Languages: Fluent English is mandatory, as it is the company’s main working language. French or Dutch is required for local communication.
