Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate management of the Belgian subsidiary’s accounting and will play a key role in its development. You will be a trusted partner in the business.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily accounting and ensuring the accuracy of financial data, while remaining operational as needed.
- Managing VAT filings, legal obligations, and coordinating with external partners.
- Preparing month-end and year-end closings, analyzing results, and providing reporting to management.
- Overseeing payroll in collaboration with the HR department and supporting the implementation of employee benefits.
- Improving internal procedures and supporting the growth of the Belgian entity.
Profile
- You hold a degree in accounting.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in general accounting and a strong knowledge of Belgian tax regulations.
- Excellent command of French and a very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Autonomous, highly organized, and comfortable in a changing environment.
- You enjoy implementing processes and actively contributing to the development of a company.
