This human-sized organization operates with a strong entrepreneurial mindset: quick decision-making, transparency, close contact with management, and a clear ambition to structure and strengthen the finance function.

The current objective is to fully internalize the accounting, which is currently handled by an external accounting firm.

Your role

As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the full accounting cycle for several Belgian entities and become a key financial reference for management.

Your main mission will be to take over, structure, and secure the entire accounting process, with a high level of autonomy and real freedom to design and implement efficient processes.

Your responsibilities

• Full general accounting from A to Z for multiple entities.
• Progressive internalization of accounting tasks: AP/AR, treasury, depreciation, provisions, and cut-offs.
• Monthly and annual closings, preparation of financial statements, and reporting.
• VAT returns and statutory obligations.
• Implementation and optimization of accounting procedures and internal tools.
• Occasional collaboration with the external accounting firm during the transition phase.

Direct interaction with the founders on financial and operational topics.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• Solid experience (minimum 8 years) in general accounting, ideally in a SME or multi-entity environment.
• Comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurial, non-bureaucratic environments.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary: €6,000
• Meal vouchers, net allowances, and insurance package.
