The Role

As the Senior Credit Risk Policy Manager, you'll be pivotal in shaping our client's risk management strategy and upholding the integrity of their lending practices. Your leadership will guide the development, implementation, and oversight of credit risk policies and procedures, directly enhancing the financial health and stability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine credit risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide portfolio oversight for cards, loans, mortgages and SME lending
  • Lead the assessment and monitoring of credit risk exposures, identifying emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align credit risk policies with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to team members on credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with various different teams and stakeholders including C-level

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Finance or related field. 
  • Extensive experience in credit risk management within the financial services industry, with a focus on policy development and implementation.
  • Background in credit risk analytics and strategy
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to credit risk management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
