Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for RDC to RDC trunking work with a national logistics business based in Motherwell, paying £21.44 to £24.57 per hour.

Our client moves freight between distribution centres across the UK, with consistent shifts and ongoing work for drivers who want it.

What’s on offer?

• Paid weekly at £21.44 to £24.57 per hour
• Working 5 days from 7, with shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours
• Ongoing work with the possibility of a permanent position

Please note: successful applicants must hold a valid DBS and be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history.

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:

• Collecting and delivering full trailer loads between sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before departure
• Keeping to driver's hours regulations and completing all paperwork accurately

To be considered as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
