We are looking for a Planning & Inventory Expert for one of our clients located in Zaventem and active and the B2B wholesale sector. As a Planning & Inventory Expert, you will strengthen the supply chain performance and ensure optimal product availability in a highly seasonal environment.



Your key responsibilities as Planning & Inventory Expert:

Inventory Management
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate shortages or replenishment needs
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Track orders in terms of pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines

Data & Master Data Management
• Maintain accurate product data, including replenishment parameters and lead times
• Update purchase and sales prices, product descriptions, and incoterms
• Set up new product references in the system

Commercial Coordination
• Analyze historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and market trends
• Collaborate with sales teams to gather forecasts
• Proactively communicate about product changes, shortages, or new launches

Reporting & Performance Monitoring
• Report directly to the Country Manager on key risks, changes, and purchasing strategies
• Monitor KPIs such as service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover
• Define and optimize stock policies (safety stock, coverage, MOQ)
• Perform regular analysis of slow-moving and excess stock

Finance Collaboration
• Verify purchase invoices (prices, quantities, etc.)
• Support audit preparation and documentation
• Analyze sales related to environmental compliance schemes
• Approve transport-related invoices

Logistics Coordination
• Handle transport issues and delivery discrepancies
• Benchmark and negotiate transport costs
• Identify and onboard new logistics partners to improve efficiency and reduce costs



Your profile as Planning & Inventory Expert:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (supply chain, planning, or procurement)
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
• Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on attitude
• Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI and ERP systems is required
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities
• Able to perform under pressure, especially during peak seasons
