Job Title: Bricklayer

Rate: £220 a day

Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Bricklayers to work on a busy construction project. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out high-quality brickwork, working efficiently as part of a team and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to the required specifications.

• Reading and interpreting drawings and setting out work accurately.

• Mixing mortar and ensuring materials are prepared correctly.

• Maintaining consistent alignment, levels and joints throughout the brickwork.

• Working alongside Hod Carriers and other site operatives to meet project deadlines.

• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.

• Keeping the work area clean, organised and free from hazards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Bricklayer on construction sites.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Own tools and appropriate PPE.

• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual and able to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
