About the opportunity

We're partnering with a growing organisation that's investing in its people function and looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in its continued growth. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you’ll provide trusted strategic HR advice, lead complex employee relations matters and contribute to organisational design. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes and workplace disputes.
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
  • Coach and develop leaders to build capability and confidence in people leadership.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, frameworks and people initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve people processes, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

About you

You're commercially minded, relationship-focused, and thrive in an environment where you can influence, coach and support leaders while delivering practical HR solutions. Previous leadership experience is essential, whether you've managed people directly, led an HR function, or demonstrated leadership through coaching and mentoring others.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience as a HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar senior generalist HR role.
  • Strong experience managing complex employee relations matters end-to-end.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, ER/IR principles and HR best practice.
  • The ability to navigate challenging conversations with confidence and empathy.
