About the role
We have two available Events Sales Manager positions. These roles involve representing the new function centre and hotel to government bodies, the corporate sector, the tourism industry, and the wedding market. You will be responsible for driving event bookings and creating bespoke experiences for clients.
- Develop a 3-year strategic plan and marketing plan to secure event bookings and meet sales targets.
- Manage budgets for events and marketing, ensuring a positive ROI on all activities.
- Design and deliver events that meet client needs while maximizing business revenue.
- Maintain and nurture existing client channels, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Represent Levantine Hill events to the MICE, tourism, and wedding markets.
- Create marketing collateral in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Seek client feedback to improve event quality and service.
- Use CRM tools to keep clients informed on new packages and event offerings.
- Ensure all event details are accurate and events are executed to client expectations.
- Oversee event staff, including sales, operations, and kitchen teams, ensuring smooth execution.
- Manage function area layouts, update event procedures, and train operational staff to sell event spaces effectively.
Key Requirements
- Ability to manage and perform additional duties as directed by the Owner/management.
- Knowledge of the local tourism market.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM management (Seven Rooms, TripleSeat).
- Strong financial acumen with experience creating and managing budgets.
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and occasional travel.
- Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
