About the Senior HSE Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for the achievement of the plant’s targets and objectives in the areas of health, safety and environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the appropriate measures to be taken in the interest of the health, safety and environment of staff
• Conduct workplace inspection to determine potential hazards and risks
• Investigate any accidents, near-misses, occupational diseases and occurrence for reporting to DOSH
• Assist in organising HSE Committee and implementing HSE programmes in accordance to local legislation and company’s HSE policy
• Collect, analyse and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases and waste generation
• Compile scheduled waste inventory and consignment notes for DOE submission

To succeed in this Senior HSE Engineer role, you will need to have at least seven years of HSE management experience within the manufacturing industry.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant safety and health field of study
• Certificate in Safety and Health Officer from NIOSH
• Registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH
• Seven years' HSE experience in the manufacturing industry
• Self-starter, independent and operationally hands-on
• Strong leadership and problem solving
• Assertive, possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong interest in HSE field
