Census Advisor (Census 2021) England

The primary objective of the role is to complete Census 2021 forms on behalf of the General Public who are unable to complete their forms on-line; this could be in the form of incoming calls, web chat, email, and SMS.
We will be asking candidates that live within a 60 mile radius of Serco's offices in the Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and Newcastle areas, to collect bespoke IT kit from the site to enable you to undertake this assignment at home. If you don't live within these area, please do not let that put you off applying, as we are adding new collection sites all the time.
The role starts on 17th February until 26th June; The service is open 8am-8pm Mon-Fri and 8am-1pm on a Saturday. You will be issued a full time rota of 37.5 hours between the service opening times and will need to be able to accept the rota given.
On the Census weekend you may be on rota to work a full day on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March and no annual leave will be granted across this time.
The role pays £8.72 per hour.
During this interview process you will be required to provide your right to work, proof of address and proof of National Insurance number. A DBS is required for this role and is you have your own DBS that is registered with the DBS Checking Service, we can use that otherwise we will need to process a new one and there is a charge attached to this.
