Senior/Lead Data Engineer (full remote) (979372/001) Barcelona, Spain
Functions:
The Senior /Lead Data Engineer is going to work with the different data teams located in Asia and USA in different key aspects as DWH, ETL, Big Data Architecture, etc. Our tech stack is based on AWS (Kinesis, Lambdas, Fargate,...) and the ETL orchestration with Airflow.
Also you are going to define the Data Strategy roadmap of the company and help to lead and create a small data engieerning/analytics team in Barcelona.
Requirements:
We need a Senior Data Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in this field and managing or leading other data engineering or analytics teams. Also it's important to have excellent coding skills with different languages as Scala, Java, Python or C++ (at least two of them). Furthermore, English communication skills are a must, manage all type of BBDDs and get used with agile methodologies.
It would be nice to have a devops and automation culture, Big Data Tools as Spark, Storm, Vertica or others and experience in the gaming sector.
