Urgently searching for a Production Measurement Specialist for an Operator in Midland, TX.

The Production Measurement Specialist will support the upgrade of the production accounting and measurement systems.  This includes a number of different initiatives that span across the physical measurement in the field, remote monitoring / data acquisition systems and accounting systems we use internally (i.e. ProCount). 

• Initiative is to get involved with the measurement group and see how flow is physically measured in the field, what happens with the data, where the data goes and then comparing it with  land requirements.
• Going into production accounting systems, see how data flows and how the accounting is set up for payment
• Go into each segment and make targeted improvements.
• Communicate to teams on how they can improve the flow of data
• Conduct health checks on the system and develop automated health checks – what is working what isn’t working, how do you monitor/audit that and then report back to management
• General measurement responsibilities– where to report data. Check public sites to ensure that data is posted correctly. E.g. Railroad commission

Essential skills

• 5+ years Oil & Gas experience
• 5+ years of experience in measurement and production accounting
• Ability to analyse, track and sync data, generate results and suggest improvements
• Some IT experience is a plus
