Senior HR Generalist - Saudi Arabia (VN14465) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Generalist/ HRBP/ to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment legislation in Saudi Arabia, with proven experience resolving employee relations cases, and a strong background as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
This role is both strategic and operational, involving hands-on HR support while contributing to long-term people initiatives. You will provide guidance on HR policies, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and drive continuous improvement. The job holder will also oversee HR for our Saudi Arabia business.
Assumes responsibility for executing a wide range of human resource functions during the employment lifecycle to achieve organizational goals and objectives adhering to the HR legislative environment.
• Assists with the effective attraction, recruitment, and selection of core operational talent according to the recruitment procedures.
• Manage the efficient on-boarding of staff including all documentation, system access and induction.
• Preparation, articulation, and communication of Remuneration structures.
• Manages and processes payroll
• Responsible for the accurate input, update, and maintenance of all data in the HR system.
• Over sees PRO/Government Relations for the country
Assumes the responsibility of identifying key business needs and translate this into effective people strategies.
• Collaborate with people managers and coach them to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on HR matters and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Act as a trusted business partner, supporting leaders in organizational planning, workforce development, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Stay updated on legal changes and advise the organization on necessary adjustments.
• Handle complex employee relations cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Provide coaching and support to managers on all employee relations issues.
• Oversee the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company values.
• Support all cyclical HR programs, provide feedback, and liaise with employees and managers to drive performance improvement.
• Lead and support talent and leadership development initiatives, including leadership training programs and succession planning.
• Develop, review, and update local HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current and compliant with legal requirements.
• Serve as leader of HR-related projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with the wider Middle East Africa team on MEA projects.
• Support and review all HR operations with the objective of simplifying and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain a strong operational focus, ensuring day-to-day HR activities are executed with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Ensures the appropriate HR policies are in place and kept up to date.
• Relevant experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR Business Partnering.
• In-depth knowledge of employment legislation in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of and experience with strategic HR partnering, talent development, and leadership capability building.
• Demonstrated experience in case management and handling complex employee relations matters.
• Experience in delivering or coordinating leadership training and development programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or professional HR qualification. , Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment and to handle pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude. Stakeholder management experience, ability to influence.
