Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.

• Support mobility needs such as repositioning, transferring, and using mobility aids.

• Assist with meals, hydration, and monitoring dietary needs.

• Observe, record, and report any changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to senior staff.

• Support patients with social, emotional, and recreational activities.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards at all times.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

• Follow care plans and contribute to their review and update.

• Adhere to infection control policies, health and safety standards, and organizational procedures.

Requirements:

• 6 months experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK

• A caring, empathetic, and patient nature.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff.

• Good communication skills.

• Willingness to undertake training (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care or equivalent).

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays if required.
