Diagnostic Account Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of implementation, training, operation, problem resolution and sales of Zoetis Diagnostic products within their territory.  This position functions within a Zoetis team environment consisting of a Diagnostic Account Manager, a Biopharma Territory Manager and Veterinary Professional Services.

The position is located in and services Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and expand the sales and utilization of Zoetis Diagnostic products
  • Provide onsite diagnostic product support to Veterinary Hospitals
  • Provide Veterinary Hospitals with guidance, instruction, and training on the Zoetis Diagnostics product line through formal and informal training
  • Ensure superb customer service and be able to work independently
  • Understand general Veterinary Hospital operations including, but not limited to, laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training and workflow
  • Collaborate with Zoetis colleagues to provide outstanding customer service within a team environment
  • This position provides the foundational skills for career advancement within the commercial organization

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary qualification in Biological sciences, Business or Veterinary technology,
  • Ability to interpret scientific and medical information
  • Effective writing, public speaking and communications skills
  • Demonstrated business skills
  • Sales experience an asset
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent judgement in conflict management and influence
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) an asset
  • Ability to travel 60%
