An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The CNC Machinist role will be to cover a 2-shift pattern 6am-2:30pm / 2:30pm-11:00pm / Monday to Friday
The CNC’s Primary responsibility is to manufacture quality parts, mainly in Carbon Steel.
Main Duties:
- Run, set & operate CNC Vertical Machine Centres
- Setting tools & producing components
- Loading/unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures
- Ability to select, set and change tools
- Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and policy
- Complete necessary daily documents
Role Requirements:
- Must be Time Served Machinists
- Excellent communication
- Good Engineering Background
- Ability to set and operative vertical machining centres
- Ability to inspect own work
- Knowledge of Haas, Fanuc or Heidenhain
- Understand G Codes
- Understand M Codes
- Manual Milling experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Able to use measuring equipment, micrometres, dial test indicators and Vernier’s
- Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
