Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maximise machine output and ensure all manufacturing processes operate within their designed specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing performance.
  • Provide hands-on engineering and operational support within the production area.
  • Set up machinery to meet product specifications and performance targets.
  • Maintain and calibrate automated inspection systems.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Perform routine machine inspections and respond promptly to minor breakdowns.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

 

  • Respond efficiently to major equipment breakdowns, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, as well as Food Safety, legal requirements, GMP, and all company policies and procedures.
  • Assemble and prepare sub-components as part of production requirements.
  • Undertake any additional tasks reasonably assigned by the Manager.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of high speed and/or food processing production
  • Machine setting
  • Fault finding and problem solving
  • Plc, pneumatics, robotics desirable
